Professional Supervision and Case Consultation
As an iaedp-Approved Supervisor, CEDRD-S, I especially enjoy mentoring dietitians or other health professionals interested in learning more about Health at Every Size (HAES), Intuitive and Mindful Eating, weight neutral care and eating disorders treatment.
I specialize in treating eating disorders across the continuum and am experienced in working with the intersection of diabetes and disordered eating/eating disorders. My approach with my clients has always been collaborative and patient centered. I use evidence-based practice guidelines and incorporate mindfulness and intuitive eating techniques into nutrition education. If you are a registered dietitian (or other health professional) seeking supervision for your treatment of clients, looking for guidance on a specific case, or if you are working to obtain supervised hours from an iaedp-Approved Supervisor in order to become a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian or Specialist, please contact me for more information or to schedule a complimentary 20 minute phone call. We can discuss what you would hope to achieve with consultation or supervision, I’ll share my approach and you can determine if we might be a good fit for supervision.
*Individual and group (2 or more individuals) supervision opportunities available.
Dieting is a cure that doesn’t work for a disease that doesn’t exist.
